Lakeland continued their strong season with a commanding 44–6 victory over Kathleen on October 23 at Bryant Stadium in Lakeland. The Dreadnaughts set the tone early, dominating the line of scrimmage and finding success on the ground behind standout running back Ahnarri Cooper, who broke loose for an 85-yard touchdown and finished with two scores. Lakeland’s offense maintained steady pressure throughout the night, mixing in explosive plays with long, clock-eating drives that wore down the Red Devils’ defense. Kathleen fought hard to stay in the game and managed a touchdown in the second half, but Lakeland’s defense was relentless—limiting big plays, forcing punts, and keeping the Red Devils’ offense contained. From start to finish, the Dreadnaughts’ combination of physicality, execution, and depth proved too much, securing an emphatic rivalry win under the Friday night lights.
