In one of the most storied rivalries in North Texas, the James Martin Warriors took on the Arlington Colts. The stadium was packed with over 11,000 fans and students eagerly awaiting the biggest high school football rivalry game in Arlington. The 1st half started off like a rocket, where both teams were trading touchdowns in an explosive and exciting game. By the time it got to halftime, the score was 28-28 and neither team’s defense had an answer for the other team. This momentum for both team’s offenses continued in the 2nd half as both teams scored two additional touchdowns and ended the 4th quarter tied at 42-42. In overtime of this highly anticipated game, James Martin had possession first and scored a touchdown with eventual MVP Chase Devoll and topped it off with an extra point to go up 49-42. Arlington immediately responded with a touchdown of their own and decided to go for the two-point conversion and were not able to convert. As the final whistle sounded, The James Martin Warriors won 49-48 and moved on to 4-6 on the season.

Ethan is a member of the Debate Team, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Psi Alpha Honor Society. In addition to that, Ethan was also selected for Texas Boys State and serves on the Mayor’s Youth Commission. Ethan has represented his community through the Ulster Project and participates in Advent Lutheran Youth Group.

Coleman is the leader of the Colt football team, serving as captain the past two years and starting quarterback the past three years. He ranks 3rd overall in his senior class out of 550 seniors at Arlington High School. He is also a talented musician as a member of the orchestra and runs varsity track.
