In their 18th meeting all-time Hoover and Thompson clashed at the “Hoover MET”, home to the SEC baseball tournament. Going into the game Thompson lead the series narrowly, 9-8. The game was nothing short of exciting, with each team going blow for blow scoring almost at will every possession. The score stood 30-30 after a three and out from Thompson with :45 seconds left in the game. Hoover started their drive at the midfield mark with a timeout remaining. The Bucs gained only 12 yards and let the clock wind down to three seconds, trusting their kicker James Bryant from 55 yards out. Bryant the 4.5 star recruit on multiple recruiting sites, lined up and drilled his 4th FG of the night to for the walk-off and a 33-30 win. Bryant was awarded MVP and was the unexpected hero of the night for the Buccaneers who now even the all-time series with Thompson at nine.

Lincoln has achieved an All-A Honor Roll throughout high school, earning a 4.3 GPA and a 33 on the ACT. He is a 3-year varsity football starter and a Team Captain this year. He has also earned the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts. Lincoln plans on pursuing football at the collegiate level while studying to be a physical therapist.

Connor is an active leader in his community, serving on the Alabaster Teen Council and as a peer helper. His dedication extends to various clubs, including DECA, Key Club, Leo Club, and the National Honor Society. Connor has already secured early admission into the nursing program at the University of South Alabama and plans to be a CRNA.
