In a decisive showing Friday night, the Blue Springs South Jaguars asserted their dominance over the Blue Springs Wildcats with a commanding 35-7 victory, extending their season to a spotless 8-0 while handing the Wildcats their third consecutive home defeat and dropping them to 5-3. The Jaguars built a substantial lead early, pushing the margin to 28-7 by the end of the third quarter, demonstrating both offensive balance and defensive discipline, while the Wildcats were held to their lowest point total all season. South’s sustained pressure and opportunistic play kept the Wildcats from mounting any meaningful comeback, turning what is traditionally a heated rivalry matchup into a clear-cut triumph. With momentum firmly on their side, the Jaguars will carry confidence into their upcoming contest against Lee’s Summit West Titans, while the Wildcats must regroup quickly to salvage the remainder of their season.
