As the sun sank below the horizon and the temperatures hovered around the triple digit mark, the “Chandler Bowl 2010” was about to begin at Austin Stadium on the campus of Chandler High School. The two schools were looking for bragging rights, and Chandler looking for their first win ever against Hamilton.

Haroon is a two-year letterman on the varsity football team and is a member of the National Honor Society and Debate Team. Haroon volunteers at the Veterans Medical Center and plans on becoming an orthopedic surgeon. He is pictured with his parents, Masood and Rubina.

Hamilton

Michael is a two-year letterman on the varsity football team. He is a member of the National Honor Society and is part of Hamilton High School’s Student Government. Michael plans to pursue a degree in education at Arizona State University. He is pictured with his parents, Thomas and Fran.

GAME SUMMARY

The first quarter was off to a slow start, and saw the Chandler Wolves score first on a touchdown pass from quarterback Brett Hundley Jr. to give the Wolves a 7-0 lead. The second quarter began with another Chandler touchdown. But with two touchdowns, Hamilton got a 17-14 lead at half time. The final quarter hummed along with the Wolves trying to dent the 17-point Hamilton lead. Hamilton kept their lead, rounding out the scoring at 38-20.
