In the 143rd edition of “The Old Rivalry,” Manual delivered a dominant 52-13 victory over Male. Manual jumped out to an early lead, thanks to a 48-yard touchdown run by Jeremy Presley on their first play, then added two more scores in the second quarter — including a long strike by Gerian Traynor after he broke free for a 62-yard run — to build a commanding 42-7 halftime margin. Male managed to score a late fourth-quarter touchdown, but Manual extended the lead further in the third and held tight in the final quarter. Manual’s rushing attack piled up big yardage, their defense created key turnovers, and they controlled the game from the outset. Male’s offense showed flashes, but could not keep pace once Manual seized momentum. The Crimsons retained the rivalry trophy for a second straight year with this emphatic performance.
