Both teams came into the game fired up and ready to end their season on a high note. With a winning streak of the past 3 games against each other, the Angels were determined to win on Senior Night. Starting the game off, both defenses prevailed and in the first half alone, the teams combined for a total of 5 interceptions and two blocked field goals. Neither amounted to much, going into the half 3-0. After half time, the offenses woke up. With precision and an unstoppable run game, the Angels took their first drive of the second half down the field to score and take the lead. That didn’t stop the Ravens, leading them to score 3 unanswered touchdowns and a field goal to make the final score, 27-7. This allowed Denver South to win the game, and making the rivalry even again at 3-3 in the last 10 years.
