The longest-standing rivalry in North Carolina returns to the Great American Rivalry Series in 2021 for the year’s second installment of the “Battle for the Bell”. The AL Brown Wonders pitched a 28-0 shutout against the Concord Spiders earlier this year to take home the “Victory Bell” for the sixth straight time. The historic “Victory Bell” was donated by the Southern Railway in 1950 and now serves as the centerpiece of victory in this bitter rivalry.
