Welcome to Puleo Stadium Field in New York, where 5,000 fans will gather to witness a tight-knit rivalry between the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers and the Shaker Bison. Since beginning consistent play in 2004, this matchup has grown into one of the most anticipated games in the Capital Region and will be featured in the 22nd season of the Great American Rivalry Series, spotlighting more than 100 of the nation’s top high school football rivalries. 

In 18 meetings since 2004, the series is deadlocked at 9–9, showcasing just how evenly matched these programs have been. Christian Brothers has won five in a row, including last year’s 28–21 win, but before this current streak, Shaker had claimed seven straight, dominating the rivalry during the early 2010s.
