GAME SUMMARY

The annual matchup between the Lancaster Legends and Depew Wildcats turned out to be an overwhelmingly one-sided affair. From the first whistle, the Legends dominated on both sides of the ball. They started the scoring with a pair of early touchdowns in the first quarter, including a 60-yard bomb downfield. Their high-powered offense was complimented by stout defense that forced a fumble, blocked a punt, and even tallied a pick-six throughout the game. The Legends outgained the Wildcats in total yardage, posting 423 yards to Depew's 234. Despite some valiant efforts from Wildcats to claw their way back into the game, the Legends' armor proved impenetrable and the contest ended in a 49-0 shutout.
