GAME SUMMARY

This game had no lack of excitement. Baltimore City defensive end, Malik Hamm, has been giving the opposing offense fits all season with his stellar play on the defensive side of the ball and this game was no different. Through three quarters Hamm had already caught an interception, forced another, and recovered a fumble, but he saved his best for the closing act. With 2:39 left in the fourth quarter and City down by two, Hamm literally snatched the ball from Poly running back Daryl Brown and rumbled 48 yards down the field. Hamm’s heroics set up a one yard run that produced a touchdown on the next play that resulted in a 22-18 victory for Baltimore City.
