Bakersfield, California played host to a rivalry game that pits the old, established powerhouse Bakersfield Drillers versus the new, emerging challenger Frontier Titans. After last year’s Great American Rivalry Series Game in which Frontier escaped with the upset on the road, Bakersfield sought redemption this year, leaving Titan Stadium with a 42-21 victory, led by Student Athlete Scholarship Winner Asauni Rufus.
