Carson is involved in multiple activities at Artesia High School. He currently is a starting offensive lineman for the Bulldog Varsity Football team and performs with Artesia High School Show choir at different events. Carson is also an officer for the National Honor Society and will be putting on the Variety Show in the winter. In the spring, he is a member of the Artesia High School Golf team. Carson plans to attend either Wayland Baptist University or Colorado Christian and study music education.

Sebastian Bills has achieved high academic honors throughout high school and is a member of the National Honor Society. He is also involved in extracurricular activities such as serving as the social chairperson for the student council, participating in football and track as a student-athlete, and being involved with his LDS Church.

GAME SUMMARY

[Yesterday 11:58 PM] Joshua Plasencia On this edition of the Bulldog Bowl, we had the Artesia Bulldogs line up against the Goddard Rockets here on this Friday night in Artesia, New Mexico. What a game this was as Artesia’s offense was firing on all cylinders in this game. The Bulldogs took an early lead on a 20-yard diving catch in the endzone to take them up 6-0. Artesia would quickly get the ball back and score again with a 20-yard run making it 12-0. This bulldog offense was hungry for more as they put a strong drive together to score on first and 10 and completed the two-point conversion making it a 20-0 game. Artesia would keep applying pressure as QB Nye Estrada drops a dime in the endzone and completes another two-point conversion making it 28-0 Bulldogs. Let’s not forget about the Bulldog’s defense as #20 Phillip Finely gets his THIRD pick of the game to give Artesia the ball back. Their offense would take over and run it into the endzone making it 35-0. The Bulldogs defense would show out as they get the ball back in Rockets territory and score again on a screen pass to make it 41-0 Bulldogs. Artesia’s offense wasn’t done yet as they ran another ball in the endzone to make it a 48-0 game. Goddard showed some life late in the fourth quarter as they completed a 25- yard pass for a touchdown to make it a 48-6 game. The Rockets were not finished there as they quickly got the ball back and scored again to take it 48-14 with a minute and a half left in the game but in the last seconds Artesia takes it to the house on a 90-yard run to make it 54-14 final score.
