Welcome to Fuller Field, where the Gardiner Tigers travel to face the Rams of Cony High School. These two programs share a deep history, dating back to 1892, and will be facing off in their 147th contest. Currently, the Rams have controlled the series, winning the last five matchups, but the Tigers are looking to shake up the rivalry with a road victory. This year’s Maine matchup will be one of over 100 featured games in the 22nd season of the Great American Rivalry Series.
In their last meeting, the game was extremely competitive throughout the first half. However, the Rams pulled away in the second half, finishing the game on a 14-0 run and defeating the Tigers 21-6 on their home field. Both Cony and Gardiner High School are aiming to return to their past postseason success, with Gardiner having won six state championships and Cony claiming a state title in 2013.

Midland holds a commanding lead in the all-time series, 39–17, and continued its dominance last season with a 17–6 victory, bringing the total to 56 meetings between these cross-town rivals. This season, the Longhorns will look to return to their 2022 form, when they beat the Bulldogs 44–0.

Most recently, the Tigers flexed their strength with a 52–27 victory, continuing their push for district dominance. Overall, the all-time series reflects Stony Point’s advantage, though Westwood has shown it can rise to the occasion.
