Two of the country’s perennial football powerhouses are set to face off against each other in another heated iteration of the “Winnersville Classic.”  This rivalry began being played in 1968 following the opening of Lowndes high school. Lowndes currently sits on a five game winning streak over Valdosta; however, Valdosta holds the series lead with 37 wins to Lowndes’ 23. Valdosta, the nation’s all-time leader in wins, looks to get back to winning ways and snap Valdosta’s winning streak. Will this happen or will Lowndes continue their streak of dominance? Tune in on October 7th to find out!
