GAME SUMMARY

Friday night marked the 134th time these two Ohio powers have met in what has become one of the best rivalries in the nation. The game quickly turned into a defensive battle, with neither team willing to give the other any room to maneuver offensively. The Piqua Indians struck first offensively with a touchdown on 4th and goal but missed the 2-point conversion. This would prove fatal. Piqua fumbled the ball late in the 4th quarter, allowing Troy to drive down the field and score a touchdown. The kicked the extra point for the 7-6 lead, which they held for the win.
