One of most storied rivalries in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Saint Xavier and Trinity are two of the premier high school football programs in Kentucky. The Shamrocks of Trinity, coming off back to back State Championship, have won the last 2 matchups against the Tigers and look to extend the win streak on the evening of September 24th at Cardinal Stadium on the campus of the University of Louisville.

Michael has been a student in the Advanced Program since enrolling at Trinity as a Freshman. He has won multiple Shamrock Awards for academic achievement. Michael has also achieved multiple Varsity letter man awards in Football and Track & Field
JACKSON POMA

St. Xavier

Jackson is a 3-year letterman on the varsity football team and a 2-year letterman in Lacrosse. Jackson is a member of the Ryken Service Club, National Honor Society and is a student ambassador at St. X. He has been recognized as a Xaverian Scholar and given the Tigers Care Recognition of Leadership Award for organizing and leading the April 2021 Food Drive. Jackson is undecided on where he will attend college, but he plans to major in Business.

GAME SUMMARY

St. Xavier reclaims the Shillelagh for the first time since 2018. Led by quarterback Jack Sivori, the Tiger score a late touchdown to seal the victory 35-28. Saint Xavier improves to 4-1 and the Shamrocks of Trinity fall to 0-5.
