John is a 3-year starter on the football team and a captain/starting linebacker this year. In wrestling, he is a 3-year starter and a 2 time state qualifier. He will be a captain this year. He participates in Crusaders for Social Responsibility and Crusader Missions Club, two clubs that advocate for poor and marginalized groups.

St. Joseph

Pierce is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society. He is an Eagle Scout and a Youth Minister at his Local Parish. He also is a Covenant House supporter and has annually participated in the Annual Sleep Out. Pierce along with his brother Brayden (SJR '20) owns a small business serving the local community. Pierce exemplifies the SJR motto "Vir Fidelis"

GAME SUMMARY

Bergen Catholic hosted the Green Knights of St. Joseph on Saturday afternoon, but it was all Bergen Catholic this afternoon. The Crusaders took the victory 21-10. John Fiore III was named MVP of the game. Bergen Catholic improve to 7-0 and the Green Knights of St. Joseph fall to 4-3.
