In a rivalry that dates back 51 years to 1966, the Holy Bowl, the Dons of Cathedral Catholic hold the all-time series lead coming into the game at 35 wins to St. Augustine’s 22. The last win for the St. Augustine Saints was in 2017, the last time the Great American Rivalry Series spotlighted the rivalry. Cathedral Catholic looks to extended their win streak to 4 as they take on the Saints on October 16th.

Roman is currently the Senior Class President. Last year he was a CIF D2 shotput finalist in track & field. Roman has helped start the Mexus Club (a club highlighting Mexican culture and heritage) on campus and is a 2-year member. In terms of his plans for college he is undecided, but considering UC Berkeley, Cornell, and UC Davis.
Tristan Minoux

St. Augustine

Along with football Tristan plays foot lacrosse, enjoys going to the beach, hanging with his friends and his family, skiing, traveling, part time teacher at a preschool, volunteers with Catholic Charities serving the homeless, and a Core Leader at his local parish and is in Campus Ministry. Tristan has been on the First Honors Roll every semester in high school. He is a member of the California Scholarship Federation and the National Society of High School Scholars. Tristan plans on attending either the University of Notre Dame or the University of Pennsylvania and double majoring in Business Management and Marketing.
