Spring and Westfield will line up against each other on Friday night in a rivalry that has become incredibly intense in recent years. It has become so intense the game featured a bench clearing brawl. However, this rivalry usually brings an immense amount of fan support and sportsmanship between the two teams.

The Spring Lions come into this game 1-2, and the Mustangs from Westfield come in 2-1. This game should be a tight one, with both teams fighting for bragging rights.

GAME SUMMARY

The Mustangs from Westfield came into this one confident, having won last year's matchup in this rivalry. The Mustangs also came into this one with momentum and a 2-1 record, while the Lions from Spring were looking to improve on their 1-2 start. Unfortunately, it was not to be for the Lions from Spring, as Westfield continued their recent dominance in this rivalry. The Mustang offense, led by all around playmaker and MVP on the night Ra'Quon Washington, started strong and didn't look back. They racked up 41 points on the Spring defense. The Westfield defense, meanwhile, did their part, holding Spring to only 14 points all evening for an easy 41-14 victory.
