The Wilsonville Wildcats and the Sherwood Bowmen square off on Friday night in a battle of 1st place teams in the 5A Northwest Oregon Conference. Both teams enter the game with 4-0 records in league play. Sherwood defeated the Wildcats 28-23 in 2011 to extend their winning streak to 7 in the series. The last time Wilsonville beat the Bowmen was in the 2004 Class 3A state finals. Sherwood leads the all-time series in victories 12-5.

From the opening kick it was clear that Sherwood would dominate the game. MVP Christian Morris took the opening kick to the 10 yard line and didn't let up. He put 2 more touchdowns on the board to take the score to 19-0 at halftime. Sherwood continued to dominate throughout the night for a final score of 35-14.
