Saturday, September 24th, will be circled on many calendars as one of the oldest rivalries in the nation is set to be played once again. Utica Proctor is on a five-game win streak after winning last year’s game 52-18 over Rome Free. Bringing tradition and new excitement each year, this game is nothing short of being one the greatest football rivalries in the country. This rivalry dating back to the early 1900’s when they used to play with leather helmets, fans of each team would recall that there is a lot of pride, but not a lot of padding when these two schools square off against one another. With these two titans of high school football set to face off once again, will Utica Proctor continue their winning ways or will Rome Free be able to end the streak and get back to winning ways?
