Two schools in Pickerington, Ohio face off each year to showcase their best talent. Both schools have been known to breed a lot of NFL talent, many of which are currently active players.  The picktown rivalry will star Tiger player Lorenzo Styles Jr. and Panther player Jack Sawyer. Pickerington Central defeated their northern rivals last year by a score of 16-7. It is any one’s guess who will win this year with both teams stacked with impressive athletes.

Dom Myers

Pickerington North High School

Dom has a 3.66 GPA and Dom is a multi-sport athlete who has lettered 2 times in football & 3 times in baseball. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the Drug Free Club of America, and is a Captain for the football team. He is a 3rd generation Pickerington football player and 4th generation graduate. He is undecided on his college choice but plans to major in nursing.
Dominic Marasco

Pickerington Central High School

Dominic has a 3.7 GPA and is a 4-year letterman for the Tigers leading them to a Conference Championship, two Regional Championships, and a State Championship. Dom is a member of the NHS and is also a 3-year varsity letterman in Lacrosse. He volunteers at the Pickerington Food Pantry and serves as a PYAA Flag Football Coach. Dom will pursue a degree in Criminal Justice and wants to continue his football career at the collegiate level.

GAME SUMMARY

This matchup ended in a Pickerington Central victory at 16-7. Though Pickerington North was first to get on the board in the first quarter, they were unable to score another touch down the rest of the game. By the second quarter, both teams had missed field goals and Central took over with under two minutes before the half. After a 25 yard field goal by the Tigers, the game entered half time with a score of 7-3 in favor of the Panthers. After an interception and long return, the Tigers punch it in but miss the extra point, bringing it to 9-7 Central halfway through the third quarter. After extending their lead and bringing the score to 16-7 the Pickerington Central Tigers brought home the victory.
