The Kathleen Red Devils last tasted victory against the Lakeland Dreadnaughts in October of 2016. The Dreadnaughts have taken control of the series ever since, winning in nail bitters and handing out some downright beatings. After defeating Kathleen 37-9 to close out the regular season last year, Lakeland was unfazed by a second match-up in the Region 7-A3 semifinals and walked away with a 42-7 triumph.

Brett has taken 6 AP classes and is dual enrolled at Polk State. He is a member of the National Honor Society. Undecided where he is going to attend college, Brett is currently holding a 4.39 GPA and plans to study engineering in college.

Jeremiah is a model student athlete that represents himself, his family, and his school with utmost class. He placed 2nd in the state in wrestling, has participated in JROTC and is currently holding a 4.0 GPA. Jeremiah has committed to the US Naval Academy.

GAME SUMMARY


Continuing the winning streak against the Red Devils, the Dreadnaughts of Lakeland defeated Kathleen tonight 41-14 bringing their record to 8-1. The MVP for the night was Mason Martin who played a great game for Lakeland.
