Andrew is a 3 year starter and captain on the varsity football team. He is one of the premier offensive and defensive lineman in the area. With a 4.3 GPA and rigorous academic schedule, Andrew leads by example both on and off the field. In addition to his football accolades, he is a two time regional qualifier in track for shotput and discuss and actively participates in the Brookville theatre program.
Zach Cavanagh

Jefferson Forest

Zach is a member of both the Jefferson Forest Football team and Wrestling team. He plays linebacker for the Cavaliers and is an outstanding student. He holds a 4.3 GPA making him the highest GPA senior on the team.

Ben Hogg

Brookville

Ben had a stellar career as a wide receiver and defensive back for the Brookville Bees. He played a pivotal role in both state championship seasons and always seemed to be at his best in the biggest of games. Ben leads by example both on and off the field and is still actively involved with the Brookville Football Program. He feels very fortunate to have been a part of such a great rivalry in football, basketball and baseball. Ben truly enjoyed the competitive spirit of this game and the intensity and energy that comes with the rivalry. He is continuing his football career as a wide receiver for the University of Virginia.
Anthony Poindexter

Jefferson Forest

Anthony is a member of the class of ‘92’. During his time at Jefferson forest he played he not only played football but he also was a part of the basketball and baseball team. Anthony earned All American honors at both Jefferson Forest and the University of Virginia. After college Anthony went on to play for the Baltimore Ravens. His jersey #6 has since been retired. Anthony currently coaches teams at the University of Connecticut.

GAME SUMMARY

Jefferson Forest took advantage of every scoring opportunity from start to finish. Running back and game MVP, Navy Jones played a huge role in the Cavaliers take over of the game. Jones ran for 233 yards and 3 touchdowns while his team mate Cameron Miller rushed for 76 yards for 2 touchdowns. The Bees finished the first half with a score of 7 to the Cavilers 21. Brookville fought back in the second half but still fell shorty of the win. The final score was Jefferson Forest 55, Brookville 23.
