GAME SUMMARY

Scoring got started early with Harrisburg running back and Great American Rivalry Series MVP Rob Martin rushing 56 yards for the touchdown. The defenses stiffened for the remainder of the half, and once again, a big play on defense/special teams led to the final score when Central Dauphin East blocked a punt deep in Harrisburg territory and returned it for a touchdown with just over a minute left in the half. The score at halftime would have Harrisburg leading 13-7. Central Dauphin wouldn't go away and scored to cut the lead to seven and after another turnover by Harrisburg the Panthers had a chance to tie the game, but couldn't get a first down. A late field goal gave the Cougars a 30-20 and hard fought win.
