GAME SUMMARY

This 50 year anniversary of the Battle of the Bell was ultimately a blow-out with a 56-7 win by Edison. Despite the final score, Fountain Valley was actually the first team to put a number on the board with a TD early in the first. The celebration was short lived, as It wasn't long until Edison ties the game 7-7. The tie is short lived, however, as Edison gains a 14 point lead with a successful 10-yard TD run. Both teams head into the locker rooms at halftime with the Chargers leading 28-7, and the Chargers maintain momentum in the second half, scoring an additional 28 points to take home the win with a final score of 56-7.
