Both of these teams boast a LOADED roster with a total of 8 two star or better players. Cedar Hill’s Courtland Ford and DeSoto’s Shemar Turner will lead their teams in the face off. More than 8,000 fans will pack into Longhorn Stadium to cheer on their team.  This young rivalry began in 2001 but has the passion of one that has been around for decades.

Elisha Jones

Cedar Hills High School

Elisha is a two-year letterman on the football and track and field teams. He has been a big part of the special teams unit and helped the 4x400 relay team qualify for the area meet last year. He plans to pursue a degree in business management.
Trye Lindsey

DeSoto High School

In addition to participating in DeSoto's Athletic Programs, Tyre enjoys science investigation and the graphic arts. He hopes that this will lead to a career in the forensic science field.

GAME SUMMARY

With two seconds showing on the game clock, and injured DeSoto player was down in the end zone, which resulted in a mandatory 10-second run-off. Cedar Hill was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for running onto the field, which gave DeSoto one more shot at a game-tying touchdown. They failed to convert, resulting in the Cedar Hill victory
