In the 96th meeting between the Lancaster High School Redskins and the Depew High School Wildcats, the records and the wet weather meant nothing as both teams fought down to the wire. But it was the visiting Depew Wildcats behind Great American Rivalry Series Game Most Valuable Player, Matt Poblacki, and his 115 rushing yards that would lead his Wildcats to a 13-6 victory on Friday night before a standing room only crowd.

Poblacki scored both touchdowns for the Wildcats with one coming in the first half and one in the second half. The Wildcat defense withstood a furious final minute from the Redskins and sealed the victory.
