A rivalry that has been brewing since 1982, the Central Dauphin Rams & Cumberland Valley Eagles, an exciting state of Pennsylvania high school football rivalry will play against each other once again on October 7th, 2022. The Rams lost last season to the Eagles with a score of 24-17 but have previously kept a winning streak against the Eagles from 2017 to 2021. Will the Rams be able to recover from their loss last year or will the Eagles win again?

Luke is a great example of a student-athlete. First and foremost, he has been a high achiever in the classroom, and in football, his work ethic has led him to becoming one of our most improved players and is a two way starter on the line. Off the field, Luke has participated in several community service events for a total of over 120 volunteer hours. Luke plans to attend college and continue his football career.

JD is a two-sport student athlete at Cumberland Valley where he plays guard on the basketball team and is a running back and defensive back on the football team all while holding a 4.0 GPA and is ranked in the top 40 of a class of 645. JD plans to attend college and continue his football career in the future.

GAME SUMMARY

A touchdown from Cumberland Valley's Isaac Sine put the first 7 on the board in the first quarter. At the start of the second, Sine rushes for a touchdown to extend their lead, 14-0. The Eagles force a turnover and after an impressive field-length drive the secure their lead 21-0 with only a minute left in the half. Sine's follows through with his second rushing TD of the game bringing the score to 28-0. The Rams answer halfway through the 3rd with a rushing touchdown putting their first points up. With a minute left in the third, Central Dauphin gets the ball back and score again bringing the score to 28-14. An interception and a touchdown from the Eagles ices the game for the final 35-21.
