 This rivalry game that dates back to 1892, making it one of the oldest in the country. Both teams once again play in the same conference, after a few years apart because of conference realignment. Cony currently leads the all-time series 65-55-10 over Gardiner. Cony has had Gardiner’s number the past several meetings as the Tigers have not won a series since 2011.

Oliver would like to go into the pharmacy industry and has taken every honors and AP course. Outside of football, Oliver also participates in tennis, jazz band, band board, student council, Spanish club president, and was class president his sophomore year.

Cony High School

Cameron is a three-year player and contributor on the football team. Great student, strong moral character and a great role model for the community youth.

GAME SUMMARY

Gardiner was first to get on the board but was followed by a Cony touchdown. Gardiner took another shot at the end zone at the end of the 2nd quarter, but the pass was broken up. Cony led 7-6 going into halftime. The battle continued after the half and Cony pulled out a touchdown in the fourth quarter, bringing the score to 15-6. After Cony turned it over on downs, Gardiner got the ball back with 3:16 remaining. However, Gardiner was not able to put more points on the board before the clock ran out. The game ended in a Cony 15-6 victory.
