The Jesuit Marauders continued their dominance over the Christian Brothers Falcons with a 52-28 win in the annual “Holy Bowl” on Saturday night at Hughes Stadium. Over 14,000 fans watched the game that‘s the Marauders have now won 11 straight and 19 of the last 21 overall in the series, which is in their favor 26-15-2. The Falcons haven’t won since 2001.

GAME SUMMARY

Senior back Ben Parietti paved the way with 283 yards and four touchdowns to be named the Great American Rivalry Series Most Valuable Player. He had an 80-yard score on the first play of the game. Senior quarterback Jason Elenberger added an 80-yard TD pass and a 40-yard TD run, along with another running score. Junior quarterback Chris Guillen threw for 255 yards and had two rushing touchdowns for Christian Brothers.
