GAME SUMMARY

The Giants took an early lead tonight putting 13 points up in the first quarter. With less than a minute left in the 1st quarter, Center Grove answers with a tough drive straight into the endzone putting their first seven points on the board bring the score to 13-7. In the second quarter the Giants defended their home field and scored another 7 putting them up 20-7. The Trojans fought back and with just under 2 minutes left in the half, they tighten the gap to 20-14. Ben Davis answered with a 46-yard return. After some long passes, the Giants found themselves in the endzone with 30 seconds left in the first half extending their lead 27-14. Into the 4th quarter the Trojans shifted the score once again after a second touchdown in less than two minutes bringing Center Grove ahead 28-27. The Giants answered with a massive drive and a touchdown for Ben Davis, retaking their lead at 34-28. Center Grove reciprocates by running the ball into the endzone winning the game by a narrow 35-34.
