The St. Augustine Saints will play host to the Cathedral Catholic Dons this Friday night. The matchup will be the 50th meeting between the two programs. The Dons defeated the Saints 17-3 in last year’s battle to increase their lead in the all-time series to 31-18. These two teams play in Division III in the Eastern League.

GAME SUMMARY

The 47th annual Holy Bowl didn't disappoint as the stadium was sold out and fans were eager to watch these teams go at it for bragging rights in the area. St. Augustine dominated on paper in yards, rushing, and passing but the Dons from Cathedral Catholic proved their point on the field. After a 14-0 lead at halftime, the Saints were rolling but the Dons wouldn't give up. A fumble recovery that was run back by MVP Parker Price for the score and an interception put the Dons back in the game. Both scored again, but the Dons pulled off the win 28-20.
