The Halloween Battle for 377 brought all the juice between two communities who eat, sleep, and breathe their rivalry. The traveling Yellow Jackets of Stephenville got the game started with defensive stop and a score of offense, setting the tone. The Jackets defense chased the Lions offense all over the field, forcing six straight punts to start the game, putting tons of pressure on the Brownwood defense to keep the Jackets offense at bay.  A 14-0 lead at half, put the Jackets in prime position to keep their streak of 6 straight rivalry victories alive. The second half featured more of the same as Stephenville pitched a shut-out, taming the lions offense. On the other side of the ball, the Jackets attacked through both the air and ground, leading to a comfortable 49-0 victory over Brownwood. Complimentary football was the theme as the Jackets offense, defense, and special teams contributed on their way to a rivalry victory.
