GAME SUMMARY

In this year’s matchup it was all Roosevelt from the kickoff as Deangelo Dowtin returned the opening kickoff 92 yards for the score. After Bowie failed to gain a first down on the next series, Roosevelt’s Raymond Boone, who earned the game’s Most Valuable Player award, returned the Bowie punt for a touchdown. Things did not get any better for Bowie as Roosevelt hung 37 unanswered points to close out the first half. Roosevelt went on to win 41-0 as Bowie never found its stride.
