Beaumont vs Banning is a historic high school football rivalry and is one of the oldest rivalries in California. With a rivalry beginning in 1934, each side has periods of dominance in their rivalry. The last time the Great American Rivalry Series was present, Beaumont beat Banning 59-0. This year the crowd will be roaring to see who takes home “The Wheel”, a plaque on an old trophy that is passed to whoever wins the game and the next, and bragging rights being the 2022 Great American Rivalry series winner for the Banning at Beaumont game.

Tayven is a four year scholar-athlete and carries a distinguished 4.0 grade point average. A model student inside and outside the classroom, he has lettered in football three times, track twice, and in basketball. Tayven looks to continue his academic and athletic career upon graduation.
Salomon Nicolas

Banning

Salomon is a terrific student who has excelled in all his advanced classes during his time at Banning High School. He has also distinguished himself in sports as a member of the varsity football, basketball and track and field teams. Salomon is a shining example of a student athlete, and he plans to pursue higher education upon graduation.

GAME SUMMARY

In a blowout game at Beaumont the Cougars Dominated at home with a touchdown storm. Beaumont put the first points on the board with just over 8 minutes left in the first quarter. After that, the cougars stayed on the prowl, tackling a Banning Bronco in the endzone for a safety. With 2 minutes left in the half, Beaumont leads Banning 30-0. Going into halftime, the impressive Cougars were up 51-0. After a third quarter TD, the Cougars entered the 4th up 58-0. Tonight Beaumont came to destroy claiming the "Wheel" with a massive 64-0 final score in California.
