Following is a great highlight recap video of the Apple Valley vs. Victor Valley “Battle for the Bell” provided by Terry Kurtz, Videosportz and On the Go Audio. Apple Valley comes from behind to defeat Victor Valley 35-28 in the 47th annual Battle for the Bell. The Sun Devils “Thunder and Lightning” tandem– Greg Sprague (pictured) and Tristian McNatt–rushed for 348 yards and three touchdowns, and QB Mossy Bell threw two scoring passes to Kai Merchant, as Coach Matt Rohrbaugh wins his Bell Game debut at the Sun Devils helm. Victor Valley QB Justin Ortiz had led the Jackrabbits to a 21-14 first half lead, and finished with an exceptional performance: 308 yards passing and four touchdowns. On The Go Audio’s highlights include comments from Sprague, Bell, Rohrbaugh and McNatt (who was named MVP by the Great American Rivalry Series covering the contest).
