St. X dominated throughout the game holding off Trinity attempts to come back finally stopping Trinity in this nationally recognized rivalry game 35-21.

In one of the country’s greatest rivalries, the St. Xavier Tigers snapped a seven-year losing streak to the Trinity Shamrocks by defeating them 28-13 as thousands of fans endured the rain at Papa John’s Stadium. The overall series edge goes to Trinity, 38-36-2, and the Rocks have dominated the last decade until Friday night.
