San Benito (TX) 22, Harlingen (TX) 21 – 10/9/15

October 10, 2015

This game was selected as the Voter’s Rivalry Game of the Week and proved it to be true. In a game sponsored by the US Marines, the Greyhounds and Cardinals played the Battle of the Arroyo in classic rivalry fashion with a seesaw battle througout.  The game was decided in the final seconds as San Benito led 22-21.  The Harlingen Cardinals had a final chance with a FG try with 4 seconds remaining but missed it.  San Benito wins the bragging rights for 2015 with the win.  Photos are below
