Rome Free Academy 24, Proctor 21 (9/23/11)

September 24, 2011

It was a huge win for Rome Free Academy tonight as they edged rival Proctor for the first time in four years, with a final score of 24-21.

Proctor took an early lead, and the score was 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. RFA came back with two touchdowns in the second quarter, then Proctor scored but missed the extra point to make it a one-point game at 14-13. Another touchdown by Proctor with one minute to go gave them a 21-14 going into the locker room.

The second half saw only one touchdown, but it was enough to give RFA the 24-21 victory and the Great American Rivalry trophy!
