The 2011 edition of the heated Page/Grimsley rivalry took place on a beautiful autumn evening in Greensboro, NC. Page dominated the game from the opening kickoff, marching 70 yards for a touchdown on their opening drive. The tone was set and the Pirates never looked back.

Grimsley’s first drive was a stalled after three plays and a bad snap on the punt set up a quick touchdown for Page, extending the lead to 14-0 with 6:29 still left in the first quarter.

The Whirlies Special Teams struggles continued throughout the first half. A fumbled kickoff and safety both led to Page touchdowns and sent the Pirates to the locker room up 29-0.

Page struck first in the 3rd Quarter with an efficient 50 yard scoring drive moving the score to 36-0 at the 5:23 mark.

Grimsley fumbled deep in its own territory on the next two possessions, both of which Page cashed in for touchdowns.
