GREENSBORO, NC — Page continued its dominance over Grimsley on Friday night.

The Page Pirates scored 33 straight points on their way to beating the Grimsley Whirlies 43-14 at historic Jamieson Stadium. Over 10,000 fans turned out for the game that was part of the 2013 Great American Rivalry Series presented by the U.S. Marine Corps and Hibbett Sports.

The Pirates have won six straight in the series and hold a 42-11 lead.

Quarterback Dominic Britt threw two TD passes to Timothy Wharton to be named the Great American Rivalry Series Most Valuable Player. Anthony Capel added a 42-yard TD run and Jalen Gavin ran one in from 19-yards out.

Page forced seven turnovers and scored twice on a blocked punt and then a botched snap on a punt attempt.

Page (4-4) hosts Ben L. Smith next Friday night, while Grimsley (4-7) is at Dudley the same night.
