SHINGLE SPRINGS, CA — Make it five straight for Oak Ridge.

The Oak Ridge Trojans easily beat the Ponderosa Bruins 41-0 on Friday night at Ponderosa High School in front of over 7,000 fans. The game was part of the 2013 Great American Rivalry Series presented by the U.S. Marine Corps and Hibbett Sports.

Oak Ridge has now won five straight over Ponderosa in the crosstown, Highway 50 series.

Ian Book threw for 157 yards and four TDs to be named the Great American Rivalry Series Most Valuable Player. He tossed two scores to Tanner Hughes and two more to Justin Priest, who finished with 94 yards.

Oak Ridge (7-1) faces visiting Pleasant Grove next Friday night, while Ponderosa (4-4) travels to Folsom the same night.
