Northside 28, Warner Robins 7 (10/1/2010)

October 2, 2010

Warner Robins came into the game 0-4, with a lot of ground to cover to pull out a win against the Northside Eagles.

Located just 3 miles apart, these schools have had a healthy rivalry for many years. Northside is 4-0 this season but is still recovering from a loss to the Demons last year, which knocked them out of playoff contention.

The Demons stifled the Eagles running game in the first quarter, which ended with a 0-0 score. The Demons surprised everyone and scored first in the second quarter, making it 7-0. The Northside Eagles answered with a touchdown after a 35 yard run, and after the first half the game was tied 7-7.

Immediately after halftime, Northside came out fighting and increased their lead 14-7. They continue to dominate in the 4th quarter with two more touchdowns, winning by a final score of 28-7.
