CUMBERLAND, MD — Ty Johnson did it all for Fort Hill on Saturday.

Johnson scored on offense, defense and special teams, helping the Fort Hill Sentinels to a 46-20 win over the Allegany Campers in the annual “Homecoming” game. More than 10,000 fans came out to Greenway Avenue Stadium for the game that was part of the 2013 Great American Rivalry Series presented by the U.S. Marine Corps and Hibbett Sports.

Johnson started things off by returning the opening kickoff 88 yards. He then scored on a 73-yard run to give Fort Hill the lead for good at 14-12 and followed that up with a 45-yard interception for a TD. He finished with six carries for 127 yards and was named the Great American Rivalry Series Most Valuable Player.

Dekarai Darr rushed for 126 yards and a 65-yard score and Hunter Squires threw for over 100 yards and a 70-yard TD for the Sentinels, who won “The Black Kettle” with their sixth straight win in the series. They lead the all-time series 52-32-4.

This was the final regular-season game for both Fort Hill (10-0) and Allegany (5-5).
