Frank was a proud member of the class of 1956 and was honored to have been a member of the outstanding football teams at THS in 1955 & 56. He went on to play football for The University of the South at Sewanee and was a member of the undefeated team of 1958 which has now been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Frank went on to UTC before returning to Tullahoma. He worked as an engineer at AEDC until the time of his death. He helped start the Pop Warner Football League in Tullahoma in the late 60’s and continued to coach and work with the group until the time of his death. The league is now known as the Frank Mullins Youth Football League in honor of his service and dedication over the years.
Chris was the starting running back for the Red Raiders and participated in 3 Coffee Pot games. In the three games Chris rushed for 325 yards on 42 carries and scored 5 touchdowns. The 1998 graduate continued his playing career at the junior college level before landing at the University of West Georgia to finish his career. Chris was just recently voted to a seat with the city alderman in Manchester and his family started the Dusty Elam foundation, in honor of his late brother, which provides many services to the Coffee County community.
