Great American Rivalry Series Welcomes Users

August 17, 2015

iHigh-Logo-R-copyIn 1999, we created to provide an outlet for high schools around the country that helped them build websites and provide content, photos and other media for their schools, student organizations and athletic teams. Over the years, grew to become one of America’s leading aggregation points for everything related to high schools and at its peak hosted over 9000 high school websites. In 2006, we brought in new investors in an effort to expand our reach and in 2010, the company was sold to new owners with a new vision. In 2012, it became part of the Volar Video Network which recently ceased operations.

We are happy to report the original team that launched iHigh in 1999 has regained ownership of the domain and will be working to find ways in the days and months ahead to make it relevant in today’s world of digital, social and mobile media. Our new company is known as BrainBox Intelligent Marketing and we are pumped to have back in the family. Let’s call it a sort of “Back to the Future” moment for all of us.

With the new school year beginning, we are routing all iHigh traffic to our national Great American Rivalry Series website, which is celebrating 12 years of unrivaled excellence covering, highlighting and supporting the best high school football rivalries in the country. With over $15 million dollars donated back to high school athletics and over $1 million in scholarships to student athletes since 1999, we start at this new beginning with a great legacy on which to build.

If you would like to retrieve your old content, here are the instructions.

Welcome to the Great American Rivalry Series and Welcome Back to the Future!

What is the Great American Rivalry Series?

Each fall for over a century, high school football has been the centerpiece for families and communities on Friday night. In 2004, iHigh, Inc. created the Great American Rivalry Series to celebrate this uniquely American sport and the cultural phenomenon of “Friday Night in America.” The Series shines the spotlight on top high school football rivalries across the nation, where long-standing traditions are valued, expectations are sky high, and followers are committed.
