Gonzaga 34, Georgetown Prep 0 (9/14/13)

WASHINGTON, DC — Gonzaga hasn’t had much trouble against Georgetown Prep lately.

The Gonzaga Eagles easily beat the Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas 34-0 on Friday night. Over 2,500 fans converged on Gonzaga High School to witness the game that’s part of the 2013 Great American Rivalry Series presented by the U.S. Marine Corps and Hibbett Sports.

Gonzaga has won six of the last eight meetings.

Back Reggie Corbin was named the Great American Rivalry Series Most Valuable Player. Corbin finished with 138 yards and TD runs of 4 and 55 yards for the Eagles. Back Robbie Walker added 68 yards and a TD.

Georgetown Prep (1-2) hosts McDonogh on Friday night, while Gonzaga (2-2) is at Our Lady of Good Counsel the same night.
