The annual Woodland Hills and Penn Hills football game is one of the biggest rivalries in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The game was held at Woodland Hills’ Wolvarena and this game was especially hyped up because their was a conference title on the line. Fans from both schools packed into the stadium that was at capacity and extremely loud.

Jake has been on the varsity football team for 4 years where he is earning his 4th varsity letter. This year jake is the starting Center for the Wolverines. Jake maintains a 3.9 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society. Jake has also been an alter boy for 10 years at Good Shepard Parish in Braddock.
Nate Ferraco

Penn Hills

Nate is a 4 year letterman in soccer, 2 year letterman in volleyball and 1st year letterman in football. Nate was all section in soccer. He is also a member of the National Honor Society. He plans on attending college for computer science or engineering

GAME SUMMARY

The game was back and forth all the way up to the end. Penn Hills scored the decisive touchdown midway through the fourth quarter and the Indians forced a late fumble to knock off Woodland Hills, 22-15. The win gave Penn Hills a share of the Class AAAA Southeastern Conference title, the Indians’ first conference crown since 2008.
